about that time

As I am being renewed as a solo artist, my first endeavor has been to reimagine several of the songs from my past library dating back to the 90’s. You see, back then, as a young buck, I wrote what were some great song IDEAS, recorded them with the equipment and with the limited songwriting, recording and engineering experience I had at the time. Rough demos. Now, being 50+, with a decent amount of life experience under my belt and modern recording equipment and know-how, the time has come to bring those songs and memories into their rightful space in our audible atmosphere.

“About That Time” is naturally the first one to recreate. Of the few people that were in my inner circle at the time, family, friends, bandmates, and my then girlfriend and muse, this was everyone’s favorite. My hope is that it becomes one of your favorites, or at least touches you in some kind of way.
